"The drama began with the rattling of the church doors as the “heroine” – a refugee – breaks into the building in order to find a place of solace and safety. The richly melodious Kyrie Eleison sung by the choir interwoven with high notes by soloist Angharad Davies left one hoping to hear this beautiful tune as a refrain later on" - Emma Crisp (Premiere of E.R. Harry's Mass of the Martyrs)
