Since it’s inception in 2014, the Davies-White Ensemble has been committed to discovering and performing works for voice and clarinet, often also with piano. The Davies-White ensemble regularly perform recitals for music clubs and societies, private events, as well as being part of the Music in Hospitals Scheme. Their work with MIHC sees them perform for hospital patients, as well as those in social care. As individuals, the Davies-White ensemble have been fortunate to frequent some of the countries best concert venues, such as the Albert Hall, Symphony Hall, St David’s Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Bridgewater Hall, Usher Hall, The Donald Gordon Theatre, Prince Edward Theatre and the Wigmore Hall.
The ensemble has recently been in receipt of a large collection of rarely performed repertoire for voice, clarinet and piano. A selection of these pieces have been included in todays performance and we greatly look forward to introducing this wonderful music to new audiences.
